I live in North Carolina and love it here. I may not have been born in the south, but in my soul, I feel like a southern girl. There is a reason that James Taylor wrote the song about this beautiful place.
I love to cook and always have some craft going on.
I knit, crochet, paint, make jewelry, sew, scrapbook (in phases, never all at once!) and most recently have begun to refurbish furniture with my husband.
I am not an expert at any of the crafts that I do, but I get by well enough to make some nice gifts for friends and family or to sell at craft shows or our local flea market.
I have decided to start this blog so that I can show my trials and errors with furniture rehab, crafting home decor items and design.
I love to shop thrift stores, Craigslist, yard sales and even my home for things that I can transform and turn into something beautiful on a tiny, tiny budget.
